Age progressions can be used to give up-to-date approximations of a missing person years after their last sighting. The produced image can be useful to investigations, gaining renewed publicity for older cases and increasing the potential for new information from the public. Age progressed images are produced using photographs of immediate family as well as knowledge of standard facial growth.
This age progression worked from an image of the target at the age of six, ageing the female with references from her parents and older brother. The target age was late 20s, true images of the female at this age can be seen here.
